In 2008, I designed and built a CMS (Content Management System) for the The Natural Heritage Institute working with them closely as they required a website that would present their content organized to their liking. The client was very pleased with the result and especially with site content navigation using drop down menus, dynamic sidebar listing, and a visual geographic interface to locate publications by location. I created a manual to following for best CMS editing practices and how to update the custom CMS extensions. Also, I worked closely with the wonderful staff there over the years to assist them in using the CMS to update the site when they had questions.
